Northwest Export Documentation Services
Our International Trade Team is the leading provider of export documentation services to companies in the North West. The team issues approximately 25,000 documents per year to exporters within the region.
Export Documentation Enquiries
The team provides advice on worldwide export documentation requirements and trade regulations. They also offer a range of specialised ICC publications on international trade, and customers can access the up-to-date Harmonised System Integrated Tariff within the department.
The services are provided online and at two offices at Warren Bruce Court International Trade Centre in Trafford Park, Manchester, and our airport office at The World Freight Terminal at Manchester Airport.

European Certificates of Origin – facilitates trade between community member states and the rest of the world.

Arab British Certificates of Origin - cover exports to a range of Middle Eastern countries, and are supported by a legalisation service

E-cert – electronic version of European Certificates of Origin. Using e-Cert you can apply electronically for EC Certificates of Origin directly via the internet, in addition to submitting
documents through our network of offices -
A-cert - electronic version of Arab British Certificates of Origin

ATR/ EUR 1 certificates – establish the customs duty status of goods that qualify for preference when goods are exported to countries that have preferential trade arrangements with the EU

ATA Carnets - An ATA Carnet facilitates the temporary exportation of goods for up to 12 months; acting as a ‘passport’ presented at each customs post your goods enable the
temporary exportation of goods without having to lodge duties on deposit with overseas customs. Are recognised in 38 countries world-wide and are used to enable companies to take goods and samples for display at exhibitions, and to transport specialised tools and equipment to complete specific work overseas. -
Import Certificates – used to facilitate the issue of export licences for goods imported into the United Kingdom
