The British American Business Council (BABC) in the Northwest was formed to foster business links between the North West of England and North America and to serve as a resource for information, contacts and business opportunities.
Transatlantic links make a vital contribution to the growth and continued prosperity of the region and underpin the strategic regional position of the North West as a significant European gateway for American businesses.
In order to improve access to the vast US marketplace the BABC NW encourages the continued development of transatlantic links and the expansion of air, communication, distribution and those related services which are essential for North West businesses to compete effectively on an international basis.
The BABC NW has direct links through the British American Business Council in New York with 25 ‘British-American' Business Groups in USA, Canada and Mexico, and 7 regional Groups across the UK.
